A man was brutally beaten by a group of youth on a Dallas train on Sunday after he told them to stop smoking marijuana. The video footage has been released.
Kennan Jones, who is 44-years old, was beaten by the youngsters while traveling towards Deep Ellum in Dallas, Texas.
Before arriving at the station, the group, which consisted of males and females, pushed the man and beat him.
One of the women hit him in the head with a skateboard while he was on the ground. When the Dallas Area Rapid Transit train arrived at the station, they spilled out on to the platform.
One passenger tried to help Jones, but was slapped away. Another passenger recorded the incident and sent it to CBS‘s local station in Texas, DFW.
The man was taken to hospital, but has been released. He is angry that the train driver did nothing to help him.
“To me, they saw enough to be, to stop that moment and say ‘We’re not going nowhere until police coming,'” he told DFW.
Police are investigating the incident using the video footage.
