Whitney Houston was a songstress of the decades; she touched millions of lives with her music.

Her family, friends, and the world were devastated when she died on February 11, 2012. Now, on her third anniversary, her family has posted a few public tributes to the late and great woman.

Her sister-in-law, Tina Brown, posted a Facebook status, expressing how heartbroken she is as she remembers Houston:

“I miss you MY sister…rip nip….I miss you sis,…like crazy!!!!!!-…rip my sister…”

Jerod Brown, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s cousin, posted a similar message with a photo attached:

You will never know the last moment you will experience, the last conversation you will have, the last photo you will take. Well this was the last photo we took with you auntie and if I would have known that I would’ve taken a few more lol. In life we forget to take a few more photos, share a few more laughs, shed a few more tears, overcome a few more struggles, mentor a few more people. By chance we are all born, by choice we live, and we are all promised death. One thing auntie was about was Family. Right or wrong, Family is Family. It was an honor to have known you, to be loved by you, and to be inspired by you. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU … ‪#‎WakeUpBK‬

The hashtag, of course, is in reference to his cousin, who is currently in the hospital fighting for her life.

Jerod also uploaded the YouTube video below, with clips of people describing what they miss the most about his aunt.

The staff here at The Hot Zone are sending endless amounts of prayers and love to the Brown and Houston families today. May Whitney rest in peace, and may Bobbi Kristina make a speedy and complete recovery.
