Footage of Hulk Hogan letting out several obscene racial slurs, including the N-word, has been leaked. Apparently, this tape of Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, is part of an unauthorized sex tape in which the wrestler was featured.
These explicitly offensive words were spoken, in the video, to the wife of his former friend Bubba “The Love Sponge,” Heather Clem. The two were filmed having sex in 2012 and he shamelessly told her on tape that he was a “racist.”
In October, 2012, clips from the pair’s sex tape were leaked online by gossip site, Gawker. Hogan’s attorneys demanded that the clips be taken down, and a judge eventually made sure that they did. The former WWE star then filed a $100 million lawsuit against Gawker for invasion of privacy. The suit is still going on. It’s nest hearing is scheduled for Oct. 2015.
The Enquirer and Radar Online conducted an investigation to find out what was said on the tape.
“I guess we’re all a little racist,” he said, The Enquirer confirms.
Hulk Hogan, who is known for his TV image as the born-again Christian, was caught on tape telling Clem about his frustrations with his daughter, Brooke Hogan.
“She is making some real bad decisions now,” Hulk said, Radar Online confirms. “My daughter Brooke jumped sides on me. I spent $2-3 million on her music career, I’ve done everything like a jacka** for her.”
“The one option Brooke had, Brooke’s career besides me, is [to] sell beach records,” the 61-year-old bodybuilder continued.
The “Hogan Knows Best” star then went on to say how a “black billionaire guy” had offered to fund his daughter’s career instead.
“I don’t know if Brooke was f***ing the black guy’s son,” Hogan said, according to Radar Online. “I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f***ing n***rs. But then when it comes to nice people and sh*t, and whatever.”
As if this was not enough bigotry, Hogan goes on further, “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*** some n***er, I’d rather have her marry and 8-foot-tall n***er worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. F***ing n***er.”
Following the release of this footage, WWE has terminated Hulk Hogan’s contract, and erased majority of mentions of him on their website.
“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan),” WWE stated in an official statement. “WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”
Hogan has apologized in a statement to People magazine.
“Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it,” Hogan said in a statement to People. “This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise. I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs.”
