Amanda Bynes has finally put her troubled past behind her. Last year, she was charged with reckless endangerment and marijuana possession after police saw her throw a bong out of the window of her apartment on the 36th floor. All charges of Bynes’ bong-tossing case were dismissed because of the former Nickelodeon star’s recent report of good behavior. The 28-year-old actress has complied with the judge’s orders to attend counseling twice a week.
Bynes was not present when Judge Lori Peterson sealed the case after the dismissal. Her attorney, Gerald Shargel, who represented her in court, said:
“She did her counseling and now it’s all behind her.”
Bynes also received psychiatric treatment last year after she set a fire in the driveway of a home in Thousand Oaks, California.
It’s good to see Bynes getting back on the right track. After her inappropriate behavior displayed in the media and on Twitter, she deserves another chance, just like everyone else.
What do you think of the new Bynes?
