We all know Bob Saget is no Danny Tanner but his new memoir, “Dirty Daddy,” is crazier than some might expect.
He recounts that he went to Vegas with John Stamos to see an Elvis impersonator and got so drunk that, Stamos “ended up literally taking off my shoes, cutting up my room-service steak and feeding me so I wouldn’t yack.” He then added, “one of his sisters even stopped by to check on us. Then he put me to bed. He went to bed soon after. Next to me. When I woke up the following day I realized … I had just slept with John Stamos.”
In the memoir he admits that he had (maybe too) wild party days where he would drive completely drunk through the streets of LA in the middle of the night; one time he even blacked out behind the wheel.
The strange humor in the book comes across especially clear while he writes about his Full House days. He mentions that in meetings and script readings, instead of taking notes he would draw various inappropriate things on the script and show it his cast mates. He called himself a, “comedian with no moral compass.” That’s always fun.
The book is set to be on shelves April 8th.
