Last month, Stephanie Huntington’s wedding became a YouTube sensation. During the reception, her ‘man of honor’ and best friend, Bradley Bredweg gave what has become known as “the best wedding speech ever.” He is also the co-creator and executive producer of ABC’s The Fosters. Bradley started his toast off with advice for the newlyweds, “We all know that marriage takes love and care, but marriage also takes a lot of work.” After a slight pause, he added “So…you better work b***h.” Suddenly, Bradley and 16 others broke out into a synchronized dance routine to Britney Spear’s – Work B***h.
Everyone, including the bride and groom, were ecstatic about the performance. Stephanie told GMA “‘I was just blown away the whole time. I was so shocked and so surprised. It was just so much fun.” The video went viral in a matter of days, after it was tweeted by the pop queen herself, Britney Spears. Britney was so impressed with the video, that she invited Stephanie, Bradley, and the wedding dance choreographer Chris Downey to meet her backstage last weekend at her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood. Downey stated “‘The bride thought [the dancers] were employees of the venue, so no one knew a bunch of professional dancers were there. This is honestly the best gift you can give someone at a wedding. She freaked out.” Unfortunately, Stephanie’s husband did not get an invite. Britney even asked for an invite to the bride’s 10-year-anniversary party.
Stephanie is a part time flight attendant. She was on a flight during the release of the tweet and didn’t discover it until she landed later that day. She said “I had a million texts and Facebook posts and I was like, “Oh my God, did someone die? Then I saw the texts and I was turning around to get on another flight and I was like, ‘Oh my God, Britney saw our video!’ This really was the best speech ever.”
“We’re both kindred spirits” Stephanie said of her best man. She added “Britney has been the soundtrack of our friendship.”
