It seems as if Chris Brown can never get a break? The twenty- five-year-old singer has been died entry to Canada. Brown was set to take the stage at Bell Centre in Montreal on Tuesday and the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Wednesday night, but due to being denied entry the concert has been cancelled. On Tuesday, Brown tweeted a message to his fans stating “good people of the Canadian government wouldn’t allow me entry. I’ll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!”
Brown was not given a reason for being denied, but we can assume it has something to do with him having a criminal background. Canadian authorities are allowed to declare someone “criminally inadmissible.”
In 2009, Brown was sentenced to five-years probation after assaulting his then girlfriend Rihanna. Last year, he was jailed for nearly three-months for violating probation. The “Between The Sheets” tour including Trey Songz and Tyga was pushed back due to Brown not being able to finish community service hours, but Brown worked hard to get it completed.
Chris Brown can reapply entry into Canada at a later time, which he plans to do.
