Emily Blunt says that the speculation of Michael Bublé having been unfaithful while they were dating is “complicated.”
Emily Blunt and Michael Bublé started dating in 2005 broke up back in 2008, after a three-year relationship. And although the two are now happily married to other people, the past tends to catch up with us at one point or another…
Blunt recently went on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show to promote her new movie, Sicario, and in typical Howard Stern fashion, he got down to business in unveiling details of Blunt’s personal life, including her past relationship with the 40-year-old Canadian singer.
Stern reflected on the relationship himself, telling Blunt that he felt she and Bublé were “perfect together.”
“But that was heartbreak,” Stern said. “Because he, he was not faithful.”
“Well,” Blunt sighed. “I don’t know, it’s complicated. Now I’m going red…I never want to talk about it. I can’t do it.”
After the couple’s split in 2008, rumors went around that Bublé had not been faithful to Blunt. Pictures that had surfaced in late 2007 of Bublé in bed with another woman started the cheating speculation.
Though Blunt didn’t completely confirm Bublé’s lack of loyalty to her during their relationship, Blunt revealed to Stern that she “had a great time” during their relationship and that she especially loved his family.
“I loved his family…I love his family. I still do,” Blunt said.
She also confirmed that his mother had begged her son to marry the 32-year-old actress.
“I love her,” Bublé’s mother, Amber, told People magazine back when the couple was still together. “In fact if he doesn’t marry her, I’ll kill him. But we’d find someone in the family to marry her because we’re not letting her go, ever. She’s just the best thing ever and they’re perfect together.”
Blunt married fellow actor, John Krasinski, in 2010 and gave birth to her first child, Hazel, in 2014, while Bublé married Argentinian actress, Luisana Lopilato, in 2011, and also had his first child in 2013.
