Instead of running and ducking behind bushes from the paparazzi, like most celebrities, Emma Stone, 25, and Andrew Garfield, 30, have found a way to use the annoying photogs for their own benefit. They chose to hide behind papers of hand written messages that displayed the names of different organizations. As they strolled around New York on Tuesday, surrounded by paparazzi, they held up their creative memos.
Stone’s message read:
“Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside. And so we thought, let’s try this again. We don’t need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do.”
At the bottom of the note, an arrow pointed to Garfield’s message that read:
This isn’t the first time they’ve done something to raise awareness in the public eye. In 2012, they also brought the Worldwide Orphans Foundation (www.wwo.org) to the attention of the paparazzi.
The couple, who recently starred in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 together, have been dating since 2011.
What do you think of their publicity stunt to promote these charitable organizations?
