Emma Stone, boyfriend Andrew Garfield and Jamie Foxx all sat down to be on the Graham Norton Show on BBC One recently to promote The Amazing Spiderman 2. One thing that Emma has been asked about multiple times is her obsession with the Spice Girls.
Andrew Garfield clapped along and smiled, getting just as excited as she was as she talked about it, hinting that it was obviously a bigger deal than anyone could possibly know about. “I just feel like I’ve been talking more about the Spice Girls on this press tour than I have about the movie!” the actress said.
It all started when Mel B left her a message on an iPad that things went wild. She admitted that she actually sobbed after watching it.
“I was a fiend. I was obsessed with the Spice Girls, and they taught me about girl power. I love them. I think they’re fantastic. Today, on the radio, Mel C talked to me over Skype. So it’s really very exciting.” She admitted that Baby Spice was her favorite and couldn’t pick a second. All the other four are tied for second in her book.
But it was then that Norton tricked her into thinking that she would be meeting them on the show. “One gave you a video message and one talked to on Skype, but you’re telling me you’ve never met a Spice Girl…”
Stone got super excited and looked as if she were about to cry. Andrew Garfield started to jump up and down in his seat. When she was let down, she looked like a sad puppy. But it was still hilarious to watch.
