Furious 7, the final installment of the Fast And Furious franchise, was released at the beginning of April and quickly began to break box office records. Featuring the late Paul Walker’s final appearance, Furious 7 made $67 million dollars on its opening day alone. The movie which was released by Universal Studios has since grossed $265.35 million domestically and an added $735.2 million from foreign profits.
Since the news broke, many of the film’s stars have taken to their social media accounts to celebrate the success of the film. Vin Diesel shared a “Furious 7” photo on his Facebook page posting “I have never seen the studio so proud of a movie…Blessed, humbled and inspired.” While actor and rapper Ludacris took to his Instagram account account posting a photo of the cast with the line $1 Billion written across it, captioning the shot “I spoke this into existence! Thank you to the fans!!”
