Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt leads a very happy and luxurious life. But, now the New York Post is reporting that the tech guru has got his hands on another home. His house he just bought is a 9,182 square foot French chateau in Los Angeles.

According to the Post, the seven – bedroom house once belonged to Veronique Peck, the late wife of Hollywood legend Gregory Peck.

But luckily for Schmidt, the French house is only a five – minute walk from the Playboy Mansion.

Schmidt supposedly spent $22 million on the purchase, which originally was at $24.995 million. That’s a very small amount compared to his estimated net worth of $8.3 billion.
