Christian Bale made quite an impression as Batman; it’s easy to see why casting Ben Affleck as the new Batman has been such a controversial issue. As controversial as the casting decision may be there is one thing undeniable about the new Batman V Superman movie, it is highly anticipated.
Director, Zack Snyder, finally revealed a little tease of his version of the comic book superhero on Tuesday. Snyder took to his twitter account to unveil the first images of Affleck as Batman. On Monday, Snyder teased a glimpse of the Batmobile covered in a tarpaulin. The image of Affleck was an added but much appreciated bonus. Affleck debuted the newest Batsuit with the Batmobile sitting idly behind him. The image is in a subtle and classy black and white.
Batman V Superman will be the first time Batman and Superman will be on the big screen together. Henry Cavil will return to play the superhero from Krypton. Jesse Eisenberg will be playing the role of Lex Luthor.
Jennifer Garner, Affleck’s wife, previously alluded to the movie’s spin on the famous Batsuit’s changes, saying the suit was a “total reinvention.” Some noticeable changes include stubbier ears, dingy matte finish, and a bulging physique.
The film began shooting last October and will be in movie theaters in 2016.
