Get ready No Doubt fans, Gwen Stefani has officially signed on to be one of the judges on NBC’s The Voice. She will be following behind  former female judges Christina Aguilera and Shakira. Original judge, Aguilera will be returning next year for season eight.

Stefani, 44, who has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, is a woman who wears many hats. Along with hit singles like “Don’t Speak”, “Hey Baby”, and “Hollaback Girl”, she also has her own clothing line called L.A.M.B……and she has just given birth to her third child. So what’s the first thing you do after you give birth? You join The Voice that’s what.

The Voice is a platform for upcoming singers who want to showcase their talent. Celebrities like Cee Lo Green and Usher Raymond mentor them and try to take them to the next level in the industry. It’s also one of the highest rated singing shows on television, with 13.8 million viewers per episode.

Stefani will be joined by Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and new judge Pharrell Williams. I can’t wait to see what great advice they have to offer as judges and mentors to the contestants. Both Stefani and Williams will be performing live on the show which airs May 5.

Will you be tuning in ? I know I will.
