Television Producer Jill Blackstone was arrested Monday on suspicion of first-degree murder of her deaf sister. She was released Wednesday afternoon. No charges have been filed as of yet.
According to the Times, Blackstone’s sister, Wendy, 49, was found unconscious in Jill’s garage filled with carbon monoxide. Paramedics tried revive her, but she was pronounced dead on the scene.
A suicide note was reportedly found which investigators believed to be written by Jill, not Wendy. Wendy’s cause of death has not been determined. Jill told police her sister killed herself, but law enforcement reportedly told TMZ the scene appeared staged.
Jill was hospitalized for carbon monoxide posing, and was later arrested after being released. Investigators are looking into the incident.
Jill has produced many shows including The Jerry Springer Show, Divorce Court and Family Court with Judge Penny.
