“When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?,” joked Johnny Depp at an appearance at Glastonbury festival on Thursday.
Fans gathered to watch his movie in vintage cars, at an ‘outdoor cinema’ vibe. Depp was promoting his 2004 film ‘The Libertine’ when he started speaking about Trump.
“I think he needs help. There are a lot of wonderful dark, dark places he could go,” Depp said.
The crowd cheered him on during his warm reception in England.
“But anyway, thank you for being here. Thank you for accepting me.”
