Justin Bieber has denied rumors that he cancelled the remaining dates on his world tour, ‘Purpose’, because of his faith.
Rumors emerged this week after Bieber cancelled the dates due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ on his social media platforms. The rumors stated he was opening his own church.
But the singer spoke to TMZ, and seemed rather confused at this theory.
“No, you know the reason,” he said.
Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber’s manager, apoligized on Instagram on Tuesday for the cancellation, but that Bieber’s “well-being” came first.
“A man’s soul and well being I truly care about came first and we must all respect and honor that,” he wrote.
The 23 year old has been heavily involved with the Hillsong Church led by Pastor Carl Lentz. The two have appeared in numerous Instagram posts together.
Bieber’s team cancelled the tour via social media on Monday, and fans were left quite disappointed.
I guess he is ‘Sorry’ after all.
