Kanye West has to be doing some serious soul searching! The man who is known for being arrogant, outspoken, and far from humble has actually taken the time out to apologize to Beck and Bruno Mars.
Kanye took his apology to social media, stating on Twitter ‘I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I’m sorry Beck.”
If you unaware of the reasoning behind Kanye’s apology, you must have missed the Grammys. During the 57th Grammys Awards, Kanye almost relived his infamous award-acceptance crashing moment with Beck. Although he allowed Beck to accept his award for Album of the year, in an interview with E! Kanye made it clear that he felt Beck did not deserve the award. Once again Kanye was protesting Beck’s win on behalf of Beyoncé, “Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé,” said Kanye. Kanye admitted in an interview with Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club that he had never listened to Beck’s album.
After the apology to Beck, Kanye then apologized to Bruno Mars, “I also want to publicly apologize to Bruno Mars, I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist.” Kanye even stated he wanted to work with Bruno on a song produced by himself and Puff. “I also would love for Bruno to sing this hook on this song 88 Key’s / Puff and I produced… I even asked Tyler to shoot the vid.”
Is Kim a good influence? Has baby north made him soft? Or has Kanye been finding peace within? What ever it is, we like the new Kanye!
