Early Sunday morning, after rapper Lil Wayne had performed at the Compound nightclub in Atlanta, shots rang out. Unidentified attackers fired shots at the rapper’s tour bus. Luckily, the rapper was unharmed. The Grammy winning rapper is best known for being the CEO of Young Money Entertainment, hit records like “Lollipop” and “A Milli” and his collaborations with other label mates Nicki Minaj and Drake.
According to a statement from the police department “Lil Wayne’s tour buses were coming from Atlanta to Cobb County last night…There were shots fired at the buses at about 3.14am. The shooting happened on I-285 near I-75 in Cobb County. There were at least a dozen people on both buses. No one was injured. No one was arrested… The only suspect they have is a white vehicle.”
The rapper has yet to release a statement about the incident but was seen stepping out off and walking away from a bus with his entourage
