Netflix recently announced that it would be releasing a reboot of the hit series Full House. The original Full House ran for eight seasons on ABC and ended its run in 1995. The premise for the new series will follow D.J. played by Candice Cameron, who is now widowed, pregnant and a parent to two boys and needs helps so she calls upon her sister Stephanie played by Jodie Sweeten and her best friend Kimmy who is played by Andrea Barber. John Stamos will also reprise his role as Uncle Jesse. Since then, stars of the original show have commented on possible cameos, but there has been no word from the Olsen twins who played Michelle on the show, until now.
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen originally starred on the show at 9 months old and alternated playing the role. When asked if the twins would return Cameron stated “I don’t know about the twins, but it would be great if one of them came back… I’m not holding my breath.” But in a recent interview Mary Kate Olsen said “We just found out about it today, I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening.” Ashley Olsen then added “I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn’t even talk about it, I’m going to call [Saget] and get his perspective.”
