Recently, rumors have been swirling that the iconic 90’s pop girl group, The Spice Girls would be reuniting again. The group has sold over 85 million records worldwide, making them the best-selling girl group of all time and is famous for hits like “Say You’ll Be There”, “Spice Up Your Life” and “Wannabe” which went to number one in over 30 countries when it was first released. Along with this success have also come rumors of feuds and arguments between the members of the group.
However, in a recent interview group member and current “America’s Got Talent” judge Mel B was quick to set those rumors to rest and reassure their fans that the girls remain good friends. During the interview she stated about the group “We’re like sisters. We get on one minute. We scream, fight and argue. Then we have a cup of tea together and tell each other how much we love each other.” She went on to say “We’re five girls who launched something pretty incredible and we’re still good friends to this day.” She went on to praise the success her band members have had individually and spoke about keeping in touch with them today stating “We were just five crazy ladies on a mission. I love the fact that I can still have the passion and drive in different things I do today. I still have the backing of all of them today.”
Fans of the group continue to hope for a possible 20th Anniversary reunion, and the girls? Well they say never say never.
