Michael Jackson’s ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, is fighting for guardianship of their two children, Paris and Prince. The youngest child, Blanket, is not biologically Rowe’s son, however she is more than willing to get custody of him as well if the judge allows it. Rowe believes that the Jackson family is not a positive environment for the children to be around, and they cannot provide the children with the proper upbringing. An inside source claimed that Rowe genuinely likes Katherine Jackson and respects her as the children’s grandmother. However, she feels that Katherine is too old to be their guardian and cannot provide the support that they need. Rowe also doesn’t agree with Katherine allowing Michael’s brother to be around the children because she feels that they are a bad influence. Rowe stated that Prince has developed a filthy mouth and is rebellious because no one is even trying to keep him in line anymore.
The current co-guardian of Michael’s children is T.J. Jackson (son of Tito Jackson). Well, Rowe feels he is too busy touring and doesn’t spend enough time with the kids. According to Rowe, Paris Jackson is still recovering from her suicide attempt and needs better care and attention for her recovery. Rowe, who is engaged to Marc Schaffel, stated that she will file legal documents requesting guardianship, so she can move the children to her ranch in Palmdale, Calif. She is not asking for money as part of this proposed arrangement.
