Michael Jordan Sends Out First Tweet

After his NBA career came to an end, Michael Jordan has for the most part stayed out of the spotlight and does not really attract unwanted attention to himself through social media. That might change, for a day at least.

As the owner of the Charlotte Hornets, Jordan took over the Hornet’s twitter account on Tuesday using the hashtag “#MJTakeover” to create excitement for their season opener. His first tweet was probably the funniest and cruelest to fans, as he casually mentioned a return to the NBA.

I wonder what Jordan’s thoughts on Twitter will be after the first day, and if this will inspire him to create an account of his own. Personally, I think this will be a one-time thing and Jordan will have no probably going back to living his life without letting Twitter users troll him all day long.
