Looks like The Situation is in a bit of a sticky situation himself.

The former Jersey Shore cast member and his brother Marc, has been indicted on conspiracy to tax fraud. The indictment claims they did not properly pay taxes on $8.9 million earned by the former “Jersey Shore” star for promotional activities.

According to legal documents, both brothers have been charged with one count of conspiracy of defrauding the United States. Marc was charged with three counts of filling out false tax returns while Mike was charged with two counts of filling out false tax returns. He was also charged in 2011 for failing to fill out a tax return.

In his response to his indictment, Sorrentino posted this on his instagram page:

If convicted, both face up to five years in prison.
