Miley Cyrus took to Twitter to announce that she will be hosting the MTV Video Music Awards August 30th!

The “We Can’t Stop” singer posted a split photo on Twitter, with one photo showing her in an alien costume and a board that reads, “MTV won’t let me perform,” and the other picture that also reads, “So I’m hosting this year’s VMAs!”

She also added, “F–k yeah VMAs!!!!! #VMAs on @MTV Aug 30 at 9pm.”

So… should we expect a twerk-themed awards show? And would the dress code strictly forbid any items of clothing? The possibilities are endless, and we can hardly wait to see what she has in store for us!
