Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have been quiet on the topic of their divorce, since the announcement.
But now that the deed is done, Lambert spoke out for the first time, Friday night…on stage!
On the second night of WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, Lambert took to the stage to perform some of her biggest hits for thousands of fans.
During her performance, the star joked about her personal life.
“I wish I’ve been drinking all day, I deserve it. I just got divorced,” the singer told the crowd, according to fans.
After the joke, the 31-year-old star went on with the show, performing renditions of her hits, “Over You” and “All Kinds of Kinds.”
Lambert’s performance was not without some special guests. Gwen Sebastian joined her on stage to sing her current single, “Smokin’ and Drinkin’.” And she covered Tracy Lawrence’s “Texas Tornado” with friend, Dierks Bentley.
Though the country star jokes about wanting to drink after her divorce, she has been having a blast these days, not at all looking in a funk. Last weekend, the blonde haired beauty was in Nashville having a girls night at Shania Twain’s concert.
“Shania Twain. Fringe Saddle. That’s all,” she posted to Instagram. “#Nashville #GIrlsNight #RockThisCountry #BadAss #MusicIsMedicine.”
Looks like focusing on music and hanging with the girls, and of course, some Shania Twain, is all a girl needs to heal from a split.
Blake Shelton has been in L.A., filming the upcoming season of The Voice and will also be performing at WE Fest on Saturday night.
