Charlie Cox stars as the Marvel superhero, alongside Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, the crime lord nicknamed Kingpin.
According to CBS News, one of the showrunners will be leaving before the new season. Steven S. DeKnight, who has both directing and writing credits for the show, will be replaced by Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez. Both have already contributed to writing on a couple of Daredevil episodes.
Netflix doesn’t release its viewer numbers, but this renewal can only lead to the assumption that Daredevil‘s attraction was impressive.
According to the International Business Times, Daredevil was pirated 2.1 million times last week, second only to HBO’s Game of Thrones. Curiosity was high over how Netflix would adapt this Marvel story.
Will those favoring the illegal route be wiling to tune in for the remaining season on Netflix?
