Pebbles Sues VH1 for $40 Million Over TLC Movie

We saw Pebbles fired up on the Wendy Williams show about suing VH1 and that’s exactly what she did. Pebbles, a woman of her word, filed a $40 million lawsuit against Viacom, the parent company to VH1. Perri “Pebbles” Reid claims that the movie portrayed her “as a conniving and dishonest business woman who hoodwinked three innocent girls and exploited their talent for her own personal gain.“ Well yea… that about sums it up. All of us who watched the TLC movie on VH1 saw Pebbles just as that. However, as we all know, there are two sides to every story. According to a source, she says that the movie was a lie and that she was very generous to the girls. Even though VH1 promoted their movie as “a true story”, they later retracted their statement after Pebbles made a lot of noise about what the truth really was. VH1 went on record to say, “The movie is a fictionalized portrayal of TLC as told from the perspective of the members. It features a cast of professional actors in a scripted context.”

When asked on the Wendy Williams show if any of the movie was true, she said, “Yes. I really did wear Chanel bags.”
