Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has plead not guilty after being arraigned yesterday morning. Rice was charged with third degree aggravated assault for allegedly attacking his then fiancée Janay Palmer. The alleged attack took place at the Revel casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey where he knocked her out in an elevator.

TMZ has surfaced a video of Rice pulling Palmer out of a elevator, but it doesn’t show anything further than that. Police says that the two had hit each other, but Rice’s hit had knocked Palmer out. This part of the police statement isn’t on the video.

Check out the video on TMZ of Rice here.

Rice stated in court that he intends to apply for the New Jersey program called pre-trial intervention. He must be accepted to this program in order to avoid being prosecuted, leaving him without a record of any criminal behavior. As for the acceptance into the program, the decision has not been made yet.

If convicted, Rice faces 3-5 years in prison. Through the mist of this mess, his teammates still show him love and support through his battle with the court system.
