Nothing says “Baby I want You Back” like an album dedicated to the one you love.
Robin Thicke has tried numerous attempts to get Paula Patton back in his life. He’s sent dozens of flowers, begged for her forgiveness in the public eye, and even dedicated his entire album to her. Is it working? Not really. However, you have to admire his persistence. Recently he released a new music video for his single “Get Her Back”, which is off the new album entitled Paula [no shock there].
In the song and video he revealed text messages and conversations between the two, showing the previous struggles throughout their marriage.
“I kept trying to warn you were pushing me too far”
“We had everything”
“You drink too much”
“Can I talk to you”
“You embarrassed me”
“I can’t make love to you anymore”
“I don’t even know who you are. I never should have raised my voice or made you feel so small”
“I never should have asked you to do anything at all, I should have kissed you longer, I should have held you stronger, And I’ll wait for forever for you love me again”
Thicke’s new album Paula is available for pre-order on iTunes. The official release is on July 1. Get the Kleenex tissues ready. Something tells me this album is very emotional.
