How did Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, win the Meek Mill vs. Drake showdown?!
We’re trying to follow all of the drama going on in the Hip Hop world right now, and it’s proving to be difficult! The latest trouble came from rapper Safaree Samuels when he released his newest track, “Lifeline,” which had some serious insults towards Minaj and her current boyfriend, Meek Mill.
The track was released on Tuesday, following Mill’s Twitter feud with Drake, which happened last week.
To summarize that fight, Mill insulted Drake by saying that he doesn’t write his own raps and Drake fired back with a track called “Charged Up” that had fans convinced that the feud was about to get a lot worse.
However, just when fans were expecting a response from Meek Mill, Minaj’s ex-boyfriend shows up with a track that’s even hotter (and more insulting) than Drake’s!
“Lifeline” insults Mill for his appearance with lines like, “This n**** bent outta shape with a gorilla face,” but fans were more shocked by the insults towards Minaj.
Samuels accuses the “Anaconda” rapper of stealing lines from other artists, and even exclaims that he wrote some of her bars from her latest album “The Pinkprint,” himself! For example, he refers to Minaj’s part on Kanye West’s track,” Monster” before rapping, “That’s really my pen game, nothing damaging,” implying that he wrote some of her best music!
Considering the fact that Meek Mill and Drake’s whole feud began because of ‘ghostwriter’ accusations, those are some particularly harsh insults!
What do you think about Safaree Samuels getting involved? What do you think Meek Mill will do next?!
