Sarah Jessica Parker was busted for a shoe shoot at Carrie Bradshaw house.
Parker was using the famed Sex and The City stoop to promote her shoe line. There was only one problem: People actually live at 66 Perry St. Most tourists and Sex In The City fans go to the iconic house to see it but the owners of the house are over the tributes. In an attempt to stop this, they put up a chain along with a sign that reads, “Do not go on staircase please.”
Apparently Parker did not notice the signs and started to take photos of her shoes on the stoop. SJP reportedly did not get permission to do this photo shoot and the owners were up in arms about it. They stated that “they deal with relentless tourists, and SJP has ignored their requests for an explanation on how she could endorse the shoot, even though ‘no trespassing’ signs are posted. SJP used their house during the years of filming, and now won’t acknowledge that she and her company used the steps and facade, this time without permission….”
66 Perry Street was the home of Carrie Bradshaw, an iconic character from Sex And The City, a role played by Parker. A Sex And The City 2 movie is in the works.
We know one thing: This house will not be used in the movie.
