Justin Hunter, Titans receiver stated that he doesn’t have time to waste when it comes to his preparation. And just a few days later found himself in a Virginia Jail cell.
It turns out that the arrest was for an incident that took place on July 3 where police were called for a large fight at a bar in Virginia Beach. The victim that Justin Hunter was fighting with was injured and taken to the hospital. And according to police, the victim suffered with broken bones from the quarrel that took place.
Hunter actually ended up turning himself in after an arrest warrant was issued. He is in jail now on no bond and will arraign in court on Tuesday.
He is still hoping for a breakout season after two years in the NFL and the Titans are hoping that for him as well. But hunter seems to be complicating his position with the team, which may be causing his team to run short on patience.
Hunter already missed the final four games of 2014, after suffering a lacerated spleen on Nov. 30 against Houston. It took a month for him to get his breathing right, part of an eight-week healing process. But he managed to heal in time for off-season workouts.
The Titans want the 6-foot-4 Hunter at 210 pounds back this season, which is why he went back home to Virginia to continue his workouts. And instead got himself locked up.
Now, what does this mean for Hunter’s future on the Titians?
