The Life of Pablo which is now the #11 album in the world, is the seventh studio album created by Roc-A-Fella Records, Good Music and Def Jam Recordings on Feb. 14, 2016. The album features the songs “Ultralight Beam” and “Famous.” With 5000,000 illegal downloads on Tidal, a subscription based music streaming service, that reportedly claims to pay the highest percentage of royalties to music artist and songwriters within the streaming market, according to Wikipedia. Tidal finally released the streaming numbers letting us know that in the first 10 days of the initial release the album was streamed 250 million times. On April 1, 2016 Kanye released the full album and on April 12, 2016 the album debuted at Number one on the Billboard Top 200. Making The Life Of Pablo Kanye’s seventh consecutive number one album and the first to ever achieve this from majority of streaming.

With this Kanye’s ego is through the roof, like it needed a boost….that’s Kim’s job. Kanye West appeared on Steve Harvey’s radio show on Tuesday morning where Kanye teases about taking “The Life Of Pablo” on Tour in September….but we all know this isn’t a fairy tale for Kanye, when he says he is going to do something he does it, at times impulsively….yes, but that is what we have grown to love and appreciate about this artist. Hopefully the tour will be more planned out then his album release was. While they have been plotting on ideas for months Kanye’s creative and management team is sure to pull off the best tour yet for Mr. Wests’ seventh number one album.
