It’s a heartbreaking day for film. The trailer for Robin Williams’ final dramatic role in Boulevard was released today. Williams passed away on August 11 of last year. Already, the trailer reminds viewers just how much range Williams had as a performer.
The Oscar-winning actor stars as a 60-year-old man who questions his marriage and repressed, sexual desires after he makes friends with a street youth who just so happens to be gay (Roberto Aguire).
This is not the first posthumous film appearance Williams has made. He appeared in the third Night at the Museum film and in The Angriest Man, which is mainly about death. Later, you’ll hear his voice in “Absolutely Anything,” an upcoming film, starring comedian Simon Pegg.
Boulevard will be released in theaters on July 10. For now, have a look at the trailer. At The Hot Zone, we will sincerely miss Williams’ presence on our screens.
I am still missing him 🙁
