Usher reportedly paid a woman $1.1 million to settle a lawsuit after she claimed the singer gave her herpes.

According to Radar Online on Wednesday, court papers show that Usher was diagnosed with herpes in 2009 or 2010, the same time he filed for divorce from his now ex-wife Tameka Foster.

Usher was accused of “consciously and purposefully” withholding his diagnosis from the woman “and continued to have unprotected sex” with her.

He also told the celebrity stylist that he had tested negative for herpes. This was despite the fact that there was a “greenish discharge” from his penis.

According to the court papers, the woman was diagnosed after suffering from vaginal sores, fevers and chills.

The victim claimed she “feels that her health and body have been ruined” and “has suffered severe emotional distress and has been extremely depressed knowing there is no cure.”

In 2012, Usher reportedly paid $2,754.40 of the victim’s medical bills and on December 28 2012, he settled a lawsuit worth $1.1 million with her.

Not long after the claims emerged, another woman came forward and brought a lawsuit worth $10 million this time.

The woman says she had sexual relations with Usher earlier this year, and that he did not disclose his herpes diagnosis.

Lawyer Lisa Bloom, who represented Blac Chyna in the Rob Kardashian case (she won), took to Twitter to express the fact that other women have come forward to her about the singer.

“How much unprotected sex did Usher have after his herpes diagnosis? Women are reaching out to me. How dare he endanger women’s health?,” she tweeted.

“It’s also a violation of criminal law in many states to have unprotected sex without disclosure of your STD. As it should be.”
