Donald Sterling’s ex-mistress, V. Stiviano, was allegedly attacked by two hostile men shouting racial slurs at her on Sunday. While leaving a restaurant near The Gansevoort Hotel in the Meatpacking District in New York, the two men lashed out and punched her in the face several times.
Her lawyer, Mac Nehoray, said the two belligerent men “were about 5’7 and they knew exactly who she was. They began to hit her and called her the N-word.”
A guard at The Gansevoort Hotel was a witness to the whole debacle. Although he didn’t see Stiviano get hit or hear the N-word being thrown around, he reported that there was a scuffle among a group of people, and Stiviano was involved. He said she was with a group of friends, male and female, when they began arguing with each other. The two men, who came out of nowhere, got involved and a fight broke out. The men in the group started defending the women. The guard said, “In the chaos, I did not see her [Stiviano] get popped in the face, but it wouldn’t surprise me if she did because it was crazy out there.”
Other witnesses came forth and said they saw a woman get hit in the face by two men. One of the men who tried to beat her up “ended up really bloody.” Another witness stated, “They got into a tussle and she tried to get away. Some people tried to break up the fight.”
Nehoray said Stiviano wasn’t badly injured but one side of her face is extremely red from the scuffle. Police could not confirm that Stiviano was involved in the violent altercation.
