Warning: Season Three Spoilers Abound!
- What happened when Danny went to Mindy’s parents’ hotel room?
We’ve never seen Mindy’s parents, but the last we saw, Mindy (Mindy Kaling) told them Danny (Chris Messina) was the father of her baby. It looked like their relationship was over, and then Danny told the Lahiris that he’s in love with their daughter. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO RESOLVE THAT?
- Mindy and Danny get engaged
This has been four years in the making. Come on, when we first saw Mindy and Danny, we knew it would be a new Sam and Diane romance. How are they going to get engaged? It better be super romantic, super awesome, and super Mindy.
- The birth of Mindy and Danny’s son
I’ll admit, I was a little disappointed they weren’t going to have a girl, but a baby Castellano/Lahiri will be just as cute. You know something crazy’s going to go down, like Danny being stuck in surgery and Morgan having to fill in as Mindy’s birth coach. That’s the kind of classic Mindy Project we can’t miss. Also, are they REALLY going to name him Anthony Francis?
- The baby wearing the “Feminist” onesie Tamra (Xosha Roquemore) bought for him
This is self-explanatory but oh, so necessary.
- What is Beverly’s (Beth Grant) last name?
I hope it’s Surname. She looks like she comes from the Surname family, doesn’t she?
- The appearance of Morgan’s (Ike Barinholtz) grandmother
We’ve heard so much about her (so much that it’s creepy), and it would be too much fun to meet her. The woman who inspired Morgan’s baby name idea for Mindy and Danny (Morgan Grandmother Castellano) is probably a character, to say the very least.
- More Dr. Reed (Ed Weeks)
He was such a prominent supporting character in the first season, and now that Dr. Peter Prentice (Adam Pally) is no longer part of the cast, there’s more room for Dr. Reed to do that British thing he does. Can’t wait!
- Another guest appearance from a cast member on The Office
We’ve already seen appearances from Ed Helms, Ellie Kemper, and B.J. Novak. It’s been years, and we need another one! I’m thinking we deserve a Rainn Wilson character, how about you?
- The return of Tom McDougal
Bill Hader’s guest character was pretty great, but we haven’t seen him since Season Two. Any time you can have Bill Hader on a show, he should show up.
- More Shonda Rhimes
Just looking at her face and hearing her voice makes anyone feel a million times more empowered. We need her… let’s hope Olivia Pope lets us borrow her!
The Mindy Project was let go by Fox this month, but Hulu picked up for a 26-episode fourth season last week. Catch it then!
