It’s possible that Clint Eastwood just doesn’t sleep. Earlier this week, it was announced that the 85-year-old director is slated to direct another film based on a true story. This time, it will be about Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger. If you don’t know who Sullenberger is, he’s the pilot who saved everyone’s lives on U.S. Airways Flight 1549 back in January 2009. The 64-year-old Sullenberger reports that he is “very glad” that Eastwood has his story. We are, too. Eastwood is great with biopics – see 2014’s Jersey Boys and this year’s American Sniper for proof. The film is titled Miracle on the Hudson.
There is no word yet on who will portray Sullenberger, but we’d love to hear your ideas in the comments!
Morgan Freeman!
