Yahoo Movies recently put together a list of all the references to other Disney Pixar movies in their newest movie, Inside Out. Fun fact about the film: In its opening weekend, Inside Out became the highest-grossing original film of all time, earning about $91.1 million. James Cameron’s Avatar is now in second place, earning about $77 million in its debut weekend.

Pixar is known for referencing its previous works in all of its movies, and Inside Out is no exception. Let’s take a look at some of these adorable Easter eggs.

1. In the main family’s apartment, there’s a magazine with a picture of chef Colette from Ratatouille (2007) on it.

2. The Chinese takeout boxes Riley’s family eats from first appeared in A Bug’s Life (1998) and later in several other films, such as Monsters, Inc. (2001).

3. Carl and Ellie from Up (2009 and Best Picture nominee) can be seen in some of Riley’s memory spheres.

4. In Riley’s imagination land, the castle that is destroyed looks exactly like Sleeping Beauty’s castle and the Disney logo.

5. In Dream Productions, the area of Riley’s brain that causes her to have dreams at night (obviously, right?), there is a pair of enormous, monster legs in wardrobe. These legs belong to Ted, the biggest monster in Monsters, Inc.

There are so many more awesome references in this movie. To find them, go see Inside Out, in theaters now.
