You Can’t Just Ask Scenes Why They’re Deleted: Newly Released ‘Mean Girls’ Scene

This is so fetch! A brand new, deleted scene from the 2004 movie, Mean Girls, was just released. The movie starred Lindsay Lohan as Cady Heron, mathlete turned “Plastic,” and Rachel McAdams, who the role of queen bee Regina George iconic. We don’t want to give too much of the scene away, but it does involve Cady talking to Regina after her collision with a certain school bus. The movie, which was written by Tina Fey, is still extremely famous and beloved by audiences everywhere. After all, it’s filled with quotes that are relatable and relevant even eleven years after its release.

Fans of the movie will be pleased to hear that Fey and her husband, composer Jeff Richmond, are reportedly more than halfway done writing Mean Girls: The Musical. Oh boy – we wonder how intense that “Jingle Bell Rock” number will be once it hits the stage. More importantly, we wonder if they’ll still use Janis’ original choreography.
