One of the public’s favorite NASCAR racers, Danica Patrick, just announced that the snack company Nature’s Bakery has become one of her primary sponsors.
Nature’s Bakery, which is known for making healthy and natural snacks, actually agreed to the sponsorship because of Haas Automation, the company that provides some of its machinery.
If you’re not a huge NASCAR fan, let us clarify; Haas Automation provides a connection between Nature’s Bakery and Danica Patrick because Patrick is a part of the Stewart Haas Racing team. The company and the team both share Gene Haas as a founding member.
Plus, Patrick is known for her healthy lifestyle (her Instagram is filled with images of healthy meals and yoga poses). So, Nature’s Bakery’s slogan, ‘Energy for Life’s Great Journeys,’ seems like the perfect phrase for the front of Patrick’s number ten Chevrolet!
At the press conference for the deal, the founder of Nature’s Bakery, Dave Marson, said, “Danica Patrick is one of the most fit and health-conscious drivers in all of racing and she embodies the Nature’s Bakery customer. We make great products that complement Danica’s lifestyle and the always on-the-go environment in which she competes.”
It sounds like a match made in racing heaven, to us.
The sponsorship deal will take effect in 2016, and Nature’s Bakery has agreed to sponsor 28 races per year, starting with the Sprint Cup Series.
Both parties are hoping that next season will lead to a more long-term partnership.
Think about it, Danica Patrick has been in more Super Bowl commercials than any other celebrity (thirteen, is the record breaking number)…she is basically a household name. Taking that into consideration, this new sponsorship will probably do amazing things for the family-owned snack company’s publicity.
