Tennis superstar, Serena Williams, looked absolutely perfect her recent New York Magazine photo-shoot.
To all of the bullies out there who are jealous of her strength and athletic prowess, this fashion spread proves that strength and femininity are not mutually exclusive.
Just looking at Serena’s cover of the magazine’s issue for Fall 2015, the athlete rocks a body-hugging, black Elizabeth and James dress with long sleeves and a sexy slit.
Her makeup is relatively understated, but her nails are a flirty shade of pink and she rocks a pair of statement earrings to complete the look.
This photo-shoot features the athlete in looks that emphasize her curves and that simultaneously aim to celebrate her toned body.
We’re telling you… we would kill for those amazing abs.
In one of the photos, Williams rocks a black, Baja East body suit with a large cutout on the front. The cutout perfectly frames her six-pack, and the pose that she decides to strike is perhaps even more impressive: a split in midair.
She is only holding herself up by her calves, which are resting on two bars. Damn!
The interview that accompanies her fashion spread will discuss her post-tennis dreams, which, fittingly enough, involve the athlete expanding upon her budding career in fashion design.
Considering the fact that Serena is known for her unique court-style, we can’t wait to see how her creativity with sportswear transitions to her future designing!
