The Virginia State Police and Virginia Missing Children Clearing House previously issued a Amber Alert for 11-Year-Old, Lucas Ezra Silas Guinn. However, the Amber Alert has been cancelled. This morning, authorities issued a national report stating they have located Guinn during a traffic stop in Southwest Virginia. According to Russell County Sherriff’s office, Guinn was last seen at Lebanon Middle School located in Russell County. They described Guinn as Caucasian, male, 11 years old, 4 feet 8 inches tall, 84lbs, brown eyes, brown hair, and wearing a red and black shirt with blue jeans pants. The boy was abducted by his father, Jimmy Donald Guinn.

Thankfully, he has been found unharmed.  Jimmy Guinn, 67, was taken into custody without incident. The Russell County Sheriff’s Office stated “The sheriff extends his sincere appreciation to the public for their vigilance during the Amber Alert activation and the many tips and leads called in to assist with the search”.
