Darryl Hamilton, a former New York Mets player, was killed yesterday, Sunday, June 21, 2015, in a murder-suicide by his girlfriend.

This act reportedly happened all while the couple’s 2-year-old baby was in the house in Pearland, Texas.

Hamilton, 50, was found dead near the front door, and Monica Jordan ,44, was discovered somewhere else in the house.

In addition, Hamilton was reportedly shot several times, and Jordan was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The couple’s child has been taken into custody by Texas Child Protective Services.
