Google might soon be able to spy on you by zooming into your face from space. How is this even possible?

Many months ago after petitioning by the biggest satellite company in North America, DigitalGlobe, the US Government eased restrictions to allow for commercial satellite imagery up to 25 cm resolution.

The first commercial satellite set to capture these high – resolution images, Digital Globe’s Worldview three, is planned to launch this Wednesday. More private businesses are willing to hand over money which will allow them to get their hands on hyper – detailed photos and videos of the globe.
