The much anticipated iPhone 6 and 6 Plus has arrived.
The highly anticipated new phones from Apple went on sale Friday in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, France, Germany, the U.K. and the East Coast of the U.S., before rolling out across the rest of the country. There are long lines that was already formed in the last two days.
At the Apple Store at Fifth Avenue in NYC, police have already put up barricades for this release and hundreds of people are forming a line two blocks long. Some had the day off while others just played hooky.
There are two kinds of iPhones: The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. One difference between them is the screen size. The iPhone 6 has a 4.7 inch screen while the 6 plus has a 5. 5 inch screen. As for battery life, the iPhone 6 has a battery life of 14 hours while the 6 Plus has a battery life of 24 hours.
The price for the iPhone 6 is starting at $199 for a 16 GB configuration, $299 for 64 GB and $399 for a whopping 128 GB configuration, with a two-year contract. For the iPhone 6 Plus, prices starts at $299 (16 GB), $399 (64 GB) and $499 (128 GB). Both phones come in three colors: gold, silver and space gray.
