A 52-year-old mentally disable man fell to his death from the third floor, inside the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack, NY on Thursday morning. The tragic incident occurred near Best Buy. After a thorough investigation, authorities determined it was an accident and not homicidal or suicidal.

The man was with four others, including an aide from a group home. The outing to the mall was part of their daily routine. The name of the victim will not be released out of respect for his family and friends.

The police cordoned off the area where the man fell and the mall will remain open.
