Something new for you to consider when choosing a new car to buy: are you arachnophobic? If you answered yes, then a Mazda may not be right for you.

The car brand has issued a recall of some of its sedans due to the fact that there were spiders found in their gas tanks. This month, 6 sedans were recalled for the second time. According to the NHTSA there, “may weave a web in the evaporative canister vent line.”

A web could cause pressure in the fuel tank, allowing the possibility for it to crack. This recall is for 42,000 2010-2012 Mazda 6 four-cylinders. The first time, it was for 2009-2010 models.

They will be installing a, “spring to prohibit spider intrusion,” and reprogram the emissions system to prevent pressure from building up.
