A couple in California needed a nanny for their kids. So they hit up Craigslist and found one. They made an agreement to let the nanny live there to take care of their kids. Solid deal, right?
Diane Stretton is being accused of living in a family’s home after being initially hired as a live – in nanny. For the first couple of weeks Stretton did a great job but once the mother of the kids found out she was locked in her room for days with the door shut she said enough is enough, if she isn’t going to perform she will leave.
Now, the family has gone to court to file charges and the judge is saying that Stretton has the full right to live there. The nanny basically is allowed to live in the house, do whatever she feels like in the house and eat their food but yet somehow this is legal?
Now, Stretton hasn’t appeared in days and was spotted hiding in a car at the police station. Stretton arrived at a local police station Friday because she thought she was being followed. Police confirmed that the person following her was a photographer and said she could leave. However, rather than leave Stretton remained in her car hiding under a windshield cover and didn’t leave the parking lot until around 3 a.m.
